3/6  Day 2 stated with a wake up announcement at 7 to come and see the shipwreck. So we did...jump out of bed, throw our coats over the pjs (our long underwear) and head to port side.  We are getting good at the nautical terms. The ship was the metal framework left as a warning to other ships. Then, off to breakfast.
We participted in the bird lecture, skipped the sailor's knot demonstration and the afternoon movie, but watched "The March of the Penguins" in the evening. We spent the day sitting on deck looking out for wildlife. The sun was shining, but the wind was cold. The wildlife included seals playing, dolphins swimming, whales blowing out their blow holes, petrol birds and a rare albatross (the largest flying bird on the planet). We saw the whales from a distance and knew they were whales because of the spray.  After lunch, we headed out into the open sea for a total of 12 hours.  Well, all of a sudden you would see someone jump up and run off. Yup, to throw up. The water was pretty rough. Really big swells. It gave T and I a better appreciation of what Nicole endures when she is on  fishing boat in Alaska.  G and I were fine. All four of us took a dramamine, but T spent the afternoon in his bunk and B ended up throwing up, but only once. Neither of the boys ate dinner. G and I ended up with a pretty red face from the wind and sun all afternoon.
Last night's movie was really cute. I love learning about the penguins. We learned that tomorrow is our last day. Somehow we thought we had one more day. That means we need to decide if we want to spend one night in Puerto Montt, or try to change our reservation in Villarrica.  We'll see.
Laying in bed last night was so relaxing with the boat swaying up and down. Rocked me right to sleep.
