3/1  The boys left early this morning to go on their fishing trip. G and I did laundry, scrubbed  them in a stationary tub and hung them out to dry, just like in the olden days. We had a great day in town. Started out with a cup of coffee and tea at an outdoor cafe and then did a bunch of shopping. There is so much stuff I would love to get, but....no room. We did get a few very little things. We decided to get a sticker from everywhere and put it on our water bottles. Looks cool and doesn't take up any room. Lunch was a pizza at another outdoor little restaurant. Pizzas here are very popular, made in outdoor ovens. This one had, mozarella cheese, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, hard boiled eggs. Weird, huh, but really good and of course a local beer - Quillenes.  We  stopped to see a travel agent about flying to Easter Island from Lima at the end of our trip. Someone here said it was cheaper than going from Santiago. That would be great. It would fit into our time table much better. We have to go back tonight, since it was getting close to siesta time.  We quickly stopped at the grocery store for some more shampoo, and here is somehing different..... We were in the quick line and all of a sudden a pregnant woman just cuts ahead in line so she is next with a grocery cart FULL . Seems pregnant woman get to go ahead in line. Completely acceptable. Where was this rule when I was pregnant?
The boys were napping when we got back. They caught several rainbow trouts and T caught a really big lake trout right at the end. Sorry no photos cause the boys don't do pictures.
Tonigt is the "world famous" asado bbq here at the hostel. Who knows what kind of meat we will end up with, but I am sure it will be delicious.
