3/10 Today was thermal springs day. We slept in, took a bus to Pucon and then a minibus to the thermas. Boy did they jam the people in. Lucky we got seats. We had to walk WAY down, which meant a long walk up at the end. No real serrvices other than ancouple of toilets and some changing rooms. The water was not super hot and we were disappointed at first, but then we found the special spot were the hot water seeps in through the rocks. We just sat for a couple of hours and relaxed. It was raining, but no one cared.
We met a really nice older lady who did not speak any english. She was so cute and we had lots of fun "talking" to her. She said I did really good making myself understood. We used a lot of hand signs and one word comments. I love doing this.
Got back to town about 8:30. We were so tired, so we just stopped at the grocery store for pasta stuff and lunch stuff for the volcano trek.
Unfortunately our laundry that we gave the hostel girl to wash, was not dry and we needed some of the stuff for the trek. So...what to do... no dryers here, so we hung them over the wood stove. No problem, by morning all was dry.
