2/14 We woke up this morning to pouring rain. Not a good day to view the falls. We decided we would plan our next leg of the trip. Unfortunately the internet method was not working for plane flights, so we donned our rain coats and headed out to the travel office. Of course it was closed for siesta, so we took a walk to the area where you can see all 3 countries: Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. We stopped at the little market for tonights dinner: steak, noodles, cucumber salad and of course the red wine. Seems this is the traditional meal in Argentina. We hit the jackpot. Germaine and I came across a bottle of Tia Maria for $10. Thats cheaper than water. No kidding. We will have to go vack to the travel office later when everyone comes back to work. Stay tuned.
Well, we made out good. We are going to Puerto Madryn. After speading to a bunch of travelers, we decided to skip Buenos Aires. Too big of a city, with very little to do. The only thing we were really looking forward to is a tango show, which we are told we can do elsewhere.
We are staying a couple of days longer here. Our flight leaves on Monday. It gives us more time to explore the falls and other things here in this quaint little town. G and I are going window shopping tomorrow night, since everything doesnt really come to life until 8pm.
Gotta go, our BBQ steak is done. What a bonus traveling with Bob who LOVES to cook.
